The structure features granite staddle stones on all free-standing posts, enhancing both durability and the classic aesthetic of oak frame buildings.
The right-hand two bays are set back to create a covered walkway, providing sheltered access to the garage and carport while adding visual interest to the overall design. The first floor spans all five bays, offering generous storage space with ample head height, allowing for potential future conversion into a self-contained annex. This flexibility ensures the building can adapt to changing needs over time, making it a long-term investment for the property.

On the left-hand end, we constructed a large half-hip roof due to the proximity of the boundary. This design not only met planning requirements but also softens the roofline, creating a more subtle and attractive appearance from the road and neighbouring properties.
The workshop features bespoke double stable doors, carefully crafted to complement the oak frame and provide both practical access and a charming, traditional aesthetic. Every detail of this project has been considered to balance functionality, style, and longevity. The large upstairs space is perfect for storage and spans all five bays.
The build was completed with high-quality clay tiles and durable aluminium guttering, combining traditional style with low-maintenance modern materials.
