Our latest triple oak frame garage in Newbury, measuring an impressive 9.3m x 6m. The substantial oak frame is finished with our Scottish Spruce cladding and topped with a Spanish slate roof, creating a traditional and timeless appearance that sits beautifully within its surroundings.
At 2.4m under the front beam, this is a particularly tall garage compared to our usual designs. The additional height gives the building a generous sense of space and allows plenty of room for larger vehicles, equipment and additional storage.
The building features exposed rafter tails and oak fascia boards, adding further traditional oak frame character and showcasing the craftsmanship of the frame. Combined with the natural timber cladding and Spanish slate roof, these details give the garage a classic, well-proportioned appearance while ensuring it remains a practical and versatile addition to the property.

The client opted to have all of the internal walls clad in wood, an optional extra that makes a significant difference to the overall finish. The natural timber cladding creates a warm, refined interior and enhances the character of the oak frame, giving the garage a more complete and considered appearance.
The three-bay layout offers plenty of flexibility. Two bays have been left open, providing space for cars or larger items to be stored, while the third bay is enclosed with large, traditional side-hung timber doors.
The garage was designed and made to order for the client, with the layout, proportions and finishing details tailored to suit their specific requirements and intended use.
As with all of our oak frame buildings, the design can be adapted to suit the individual site and how the building will be used. From the overall dimensions and internal layout through to the choice of cladding, roofing and doors, each element was carefully considered to create a building that is both practical and in keeping with the traditional character of an oak frame.
