Oak-framed BBQ and outdoor kitchen
This is the build log of our latest building – an oak framed entertainment area near Lymington in the New Forest.
This oak frame is 9.3m wide x 5.5m deep with a roof pitch of 35° to provide a garden seating / cooking and living area.

the Details
The build features the oak frame, softwood stud work / cladding / rafters. The trick here was to not have any dwarf walls. The cladding is built from a suspended oak beam, hung between the oak posts.
The clay tiles and fully-hipped roof complete the building ready for the new kitchen and furniture.
